The Food Mercenary Makes Key Lime Pie!  
July 16, 2008 - 7:00pm


Chef Mike Niksic returns to the
Library to cool the summer heat
with a breath from the islands,
Key Lime Pie.  It's a no bake
creation, topped with a fresh,
seasonal berry sauce. 

Everyone gets a piece of the pie and one lucky winner will take a whole pie home!  There is a $1.00 charge per person at the time of registration to cover the cost of materials.

Meditation With Rhonda Day-Kooy

Rhonda Day-Kooy is the owner of
Blue Feather Books and Botanicals
in LaGrange, Illinois.  She returns to
guide us through the simplest forms
of meditation, sitting, walking, lying,
and standing. 

Join us as we experience a short meditation practice with these four forms to help you find your center and balance.  One style will speak to your comfort level and you will leave with enough skill to continue the practice at home.

library to take the Fall chill from
the air with his recipe for tomato
bisque soup. 

He will lead us on the pathway of adding different ingredients to create a multitude of unique tastes to warm the season.
