Winter Reading Program
Closing day is February 25!!!
The Winter Reading Program has started! Record read titles in binder located at the Reference Desk. All read books must be recorded by February 25 - 3:00pm.
A closing party will be held Saturday, March 3rd at 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be served for participants. Prizes for Top Winter Readers will be awarded!
Crafting a Successful Etsy Shop

Local Etsy.com guru Beth Cummings of the Chicago Craft Mafia will teach you how to start an Etsy shop and increase sales of your handmade wares. Learn about photographing your crafts, writing product descriptions, pricing strategies, and more.
Friends of the Library: Breakfast Social

For only $5, you can become a Member of the Friends of the Library Stickney-Forest View Public Library District and attend our breakfast social. During this meeting we will be discussing our fundraising and event plans for the year over a light breakfast.

Come visit the library, as we host a throwback event to the lounge/pop singers of the 1950-60’s. A veteran nightclub and stage entertainer, Chuck will have a special appeal for fans of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr., Diana Krall, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, and Michael Bublè. Join us for this special National Library Week event as he steps out and sings the Great American Songbook in our main room.
