   week and cost $1.00.
 
   Music CDs - We have extensive 
   collection consisting of rock, folk,
   country, and holiday.  They check out
   for one week.
 
   Magazines - Cooking, history, cars, fashion, bridal
   and crafts are just a few of the topics
   that we have to offer.  They check
   out for one week.
 
   Books - Nonfiction, fiction,
   paperbacks, new books, and
   classics all check out for 3 weeks.
 
   Audiobooks - This growing collection is just CDs.
   They check out for 3 weeks.

   Newspapers
- These cannot be taken out, but we
have the Berwyn Life, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, USA Today, Crain's Chicago Business, Barron's, and the Wall Street Journal.
 
Stickney-Forest View Public Library District card holders can have no more than 20 CDs, DVDs or Wii Games and 50 items total checked out at a given time.
 
Interlibrary Loan -  As part of the MLS (Metropolitan Library System) Reciprocal Borrowing program, your public library card allows you to check out materials from any other public library in the Metropolitan Library System.
 
To find an item check the SWAN library catalog. The SWAN catalog contains one million items held at over 70 public libraries in the suburban area.
 
Once you find a library that has the item you need check the MLS Directory for the address, hours, and contact information of the library.
