Join us as we welcome Max Clark Quintet. They are a Jazz and Latin jazz quintet in the Chicago-land area that is comprised of 5 talented musicians. They perform at many music programs throughout the Chicago-land area and the nation. The group is led by Chicago Saxophonist Max Clark Wassinger, who started the group to bring more live music to the Chicago suburbs.

As Halloween aproaches, the library is doing our part to scare you! Join us for a showing of "The Ring". You'll scream, you'll yell, you'll jump but most of all - you will be frightened! The Ring is a film about a young journalist who must investigate a mysterious videotape which seems to cause the death of anyone in a week of viewing it.

The Stickney Public Health District will be coming to the library to offer a flu clinic. Several nurses from the Stickney Public Health District will be there to lead an informational seminar about the flu, and flu vaccinations will be administered after for those interested parties. The cost of the shot is $15 for adults.
