Continuing Programs
Youth Services offers a series of continuing monthly programs. Stop by Youth Services and register at least one day in advance.
Mondays
Music with Mr. Dan
5-6 pm
Bring your own musical instrument or use one of ours to create your own musical expression.
For children age 7 and up. Please register at least the day before each class.
Music Education helps young people feel inspired and motivated.
Tuesdays
Parents as Teachers
10:30am -12pm
A program to train parents to be their children's first teachers. Using songs, rhymes, books, toys and other ideas to help in your child's early development. Parents, grandparents or any adult with children from birth till 3 years of age are encouraged to attend. Children up till 5 years of age are welcome.

"Score Through Education"
Sponsored by the Chicago Fire Soccer
Participate in the Chicago fire’s “Scoring through Education” program over the next few months. Note that Feb. 22nd is the start date, and will end on April 2nd. The program will reward students with complimentary tickets to a Fire game for their accomplishing (3) goals.
1. Read at least 6 books
2. Attend at least 1 program
3. Submit a paper about the Chicago Fire team, a single player, or soccer.

Winter Reading Program
Now until April 3, 2010
There will be prizes awarded at the end of the program during National Library Week in April. The Chicago Wolves Pro Hockey Team is the sponsor of the Winter Reading Program and donates many of the prizes!
